Summer Reading Program

Wednesdays at 10am
Summer reading program is here! Beginning June 10th, it will be held on Wednesdays at 10am. This year's theme is "Unearth A Story!" All ages are welcome to attend, but activities will mostly be geared towards preschool through 5th grade. We hope you'll join us!

Ice Cream Social & Concert
Sunday, July 19th
3:00pm
Join us on Sunday, July 19th for our Ice Cream Social with a concert from the Twin Tiers Community Band! We will be serving ice cream and toppings while the band performs, starting at 3pm. This is a free event! Join us for some ice cream, good company, and great music on the library lawn! If it rains, we will move inside the library. 

Family Night: Paint & Snack
Thursday, July 23rd
7:00pm
Join us for a family night of painting! We will provide snacks and all the materials you need to paint, and you just bring your creativity! This will not be a guided painting class- just pop in and paint whatever you want to. All ages welcome!

Coasters Pop-In Craft
Friday, July 24th 12-5pm
Saturday, July 25th 9am-1pm
Join us for a pop-in craft at the library! You can "pop in" anytime during our regular hours on Friday, July 24th and Saturday, July 25th to create your own geometric-style coaster. We’ll provide the cork coasters, paint, and all required materials, and you can personalize it however you’d like.
No registration required. Limit 2 coasters per person. While supplies last!

Adult Book Bingo
Thursday, July 30th
7:00pm
Why let the kids have all the fun? Join us for a grown-up Book Bingo Night at the library! Ages 16 and up are welcome. Prizes will be mostly adult fiction books, with some nonfiction, and we'll have a variety of other prizes, too! 
This is a FREE event, but we ask that you please register so we have an idea of the number of participants. Call the library at 814-887-9262 or message us on Facebook to sign up!

Book Vase Craft
Thursday, August 6th
7:00pm
Join us on Thursday, August 6th at 7pm to create your own “vase” made out of a book and decorate it with artificial flowers! We will be using hot glue- if you have your own hot glue gun that you can bring from home, please do, as we only have a few. Recommended for ages 14 and up.

Knit & Crochet Group
Every Tuesday
7:00pm
Knitters and crocheters are welcome to join us for our knit and crochet group on Tuesdays at 7pm at the library. This is an informal group- just come down to the library and enjoy the company of fellow crafters while working on your own projects!

Library Board Meetings
The 2nd Tuesday of every month
6:30pm
Our library board meetings are held at the library the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm and are open to the public. We would love to have more members of our community get involved in the library, so stop in and see what we're all about!
