Cookbook Club

Cookbook Club will be having our next meeting on Thursday, January 15th at 7pm! The book is Finding Dorothy by Elizabeth Letts. The food will be soup and bread. Bring your choice of soup or bread (or a dessert) to share and join us! See you then! New members are always welcome. Contact the library with any questions.

Movie Night
Tuesday, January 20th
7:00pm
We will be showing "Lost on a Mountain in Maine" for a Movie Night on Tuesday, January 20th at 7:00pm! We will have movie theater popcorn, and you are free to bring your own snacks, drinks, comfy chairs etc. from home as well. This movie is rated PG and you can click here to watch the trailer. We hope you'll join us!

Lego Club
Wednesday, January 21st
3:30-4:30pm
Join us for Lego Club at the library! Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, January 21st from 3:30-4:30pm. Ages 6 and up are welcome to join us to get creative with Legos and enjoy some snacks. No registration required. Contact the library with any questions.

Trivia Night (21+)
Friday, January 30th
6:00pm
Join us for a 21 + Trivia Night at the library on Friday, January 30th! Doors open 5:30 so you can get snacks and refreshments to enjoy, then trivia will start up at 6:00pm, with our emcee Scott McGuire!
Cost is $10 per person or $30 for a team of four. You can play as an individual, or on a team of up to four. Registration is required- call the library at 814-887-9262 or message on Facebook to sign up!
We will provide snacks and refreshments, and you are welcome to BYOB! Please contact the library with any questions. We hope you'll join us!

Library Olympics
February 1st-28th
In honor of the 2026 Winter Olympics, we are holding a "Library Olympics" at HML! Age groups 0-9 and 10-18 can participate by picking up a form from the library and completing various library-related "events" listed on the form. There will be prizes! Contact the library with any questions.

Children's Story Hour
Every Wednesday at 10am
Young children and their adults are welcome to join us every Wednesday at 10am to listen to some stories, do some crafts, and have some fun hanging out at the library!

Knit & Crochet Group
Every Tuesday
7:00pm
Knitters and crocheters are welcome to join us for our knit and crochet group on Tuesdays at 7pm at the library. This is an informal group- just come down to the library and enjoy the company of fellow crafters while working on your own projects!

Library Board Meetings
The 2nd Tuesday of every month
6:30pm
Our library board meetings are held at the library the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm and are open to the public. We would love to have more members of our community get involved in the library, so stop in and see what we're all about!
